We got in touch with Vicky when our son sat the 7+ Colet Court (Prep school to St Paul's) exam and did not get in, largely based on his creative writing and other English language and comprehension skills. We knew Vicky as she had taught our older son, who was already at St Paul’s, and asked for her help. She worked with our son on his English composition and comprehension skills for a year and he reapplied for 8+ entrance. We were delighted that he was then offered a place. Vicky continued to support him from time to time and he made a smooth transition for Colet Court to St Paul’s senior school where he has been very happy. Thanks again Vicky.

Justin was very knowledgeable, focused, caring and dedicated. He has a facilitative, patient and encouraging teaching style. He encouraged our son to discuss the two books, critically analyse them and produce an outstanding piece of coursework. We would highly recommend him.
Subject: English, Outcome: A* in English extended essay coursework
Justin is a wonderful English teacher. His ability to listen with generosity, has made our teenagers feel safe and at ease to explore the world of self-expression during an emotionally complex time in their lives. He engages critical thinking and analysis through his own passion for language and story telling. He relates the study material through games, tasks and conversations that are relevant to their lives today. As a parent you pray your children will find those key teachers that will inspire them to do well, not because they have to but because they have found their own passion for the subject.
